Kresley Cole's books are worth every lost minute of sleep. I admit I liked the first book in the series better than this one but even with that being said you can not go wrong with these fabulous stories.

Alot of the book was about a competion called the Hie, it is like the olympics for immortals. I did like this book.

Fasten your seatbelts, break out the popcorn (or chocolate), the tissue, and a fan (for the yummy steamy parts). I got lost in this book and didn't want to come out. This is one of the best series I've read in a while. Yipee ky yea. As Kaderin says "the cake is worth the bake." Twilight, what. And I thought the first book was so fabulous. Another highly intense yet witty masterpiece by Cole. It just keeps getting better and better.

I'm looking forward to the next book where we get his side of the story in detail. I also like Bowen's storyline in this book and felt for his pain. I can't believe all he went through. This was a great follow-up to "A hunger like no other". I so rooting for him. Although he was a vampire he exuded nothing less then gentleness, caring, and a hell of a sex appeal. I loved the chemistry between Sebastian and Kederin. The storyline was very interesting and I found I couldn't put the book down.

I just wanted to take "Bastin" home and kick Kaderin's butt (but her being all Valkyrie she would probably kill me). Not my favorite Krelsey Cole book, but I still liked it.
